About Us

At Learnly we’re all about building confidence, inspiring students and enjoying learning. We understand that you learn best if you’re having fun. Our story began over a decade ago, when our founder Natalie started supporting students with special educational needs. She quickly realised how important tailored support is to all students, so she set about developing tools to boost confidence and provide assistance to more and more students as part of their learning journey. We treat every student as an individual, working with you to provide the support you really need. Our focus is on building skills, improving confidence and encouraging students to achieve their very best.

This approach clearly works as time and again students and parents come back to us with glowing feedback. We are here for you, so if you feel like you’re struggling and need some reassurance and nurturing to get back on the right path let one of our experienced tutors support you.

Natalie - Founder of Learnly

Hi! I’m Natalie, an enthusiastic, highly experienced tutor and founder of Learnly.

I support GCSE and A-Level students with Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics. I also support children and parents with study skills, revision support as well as preparation for university entrance exams and interviews. I’m passionate about focusing on skills and encouraging students to progress at their own rate. I’ve worked with a number of students with additional needs and all of my teaching is tailored to the specific needs of each student. This encourages students to enjoy lessons, grow in confidence and flourish.

A bit about my background – I’ve been a tutor for the past 13 years, previously fitting this around studying and working full time. I achieved four A*s at A-Level in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics before going on to study Physics at the University of Oxford. I worked as a project manager and consultant in finance and banking before setting up Learnly. In 2022 I received my MA in Education from the University of Lincoln. My research focuses on tutoring and the impact of tuition on mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Hello! I’m Phillip, an experienced Maths, Physics and Science tutor.

Throughout my own secondary education and time in college, I taught lessons to a variety of age groups, ranging from year 7 to year 11. During these lessons, a lot of my responsibilities were centred on making sure each student understood what they were doing – and helping them whenever they needed the support.

I studied maths, physics, computer science and psychology at A-level as well as completing an extended project based in physics and am currently in my second year of studying physics at university.

I have a firm belief that everyone can do well academically, if the content they’re being taught is tailored to them in the right way. It is important  that students feel comfortable and confident in what they’re learning so they can enjoy the lessons and thrive.

Hi! I’m Dottie, the Learnly dog!

I love jumping in on lessons and saying hello to all our students! I love chicken and cheese and running around with my toys. I’m brilliant at my 8 times tables and I even know how to send emails. I can’t wait to wag my tail with you soon!
